A Letter From
Angela Hartley
Hello, my name is Angela Hartley – If you’re interested in getting out of pain and getting back to doing the things you genuinely love, you are in the right place. If you need help feeling more energetic and active, getting your body into shape, or just returning to activities you used to enjoy, I assure you: you are in the right place.
I became a Cardiac Rehab Specialist and Personal Trainer with one mission: to dramatically improve people's health, happiness, and longevity through my unique vision of physical activity, diet, and nutrition.
I believe I’ve discovered some unconventional truths about human movement and health. My philosophy is a radical departure from the traditional “wisdom” that has failed many people over the past few decades.
My approach may offer a breakthrough for those who have struggled for years with their pain, activity levels, energy levels, body, and health. If you’ve tried everything and nothing has worked… I want to offer you hope for a better tomorrow starting today!
Angela Hartley: Cardiac Rehab Specialist, Personal Trainer, Nutritional Therapist, and the mind behind the science of Clinical Exercise and Healthy Hearties.
For over ten years, I have been one of the top experts in cardiac rehabilitation and personal training. My experiences have taken me to new frontiers of medical and movement science. I am now a driving force behind innovative health and wellness treatments – breakthroughs revolutionizing how we help people improve their quality of life.
In 2006, after finishing my nursing qualification at the University of Queensland, I started working as a Cardiac Nurse at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. In 2008, I moved to the United Kingdom and worked as a personal trainer in London, quickly becoming a popular trainer at Fitness First with a wide range of clients. I also continued working as a Cardiac Nurse at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
My passion for helping those recovering from illness or injury led me to private Cardiac Rehab. Working on the prestigious Harley Street, I covered both clinical and exercise aspects, helping clients post-heart surgery, after heart attacks, and with cancer and other health conditions.
In 2014, I set up my own business, Clinical Exercise, where I see one-to-one clients with a wide range of clinical conditions. When COVID hit, I adapted by setting up group classes over Zoom, which remain popular and continue to run three times a week.
In 2022, I returned to my passion for natural medicine and graduated from the College of Natural Medicine as a Nutritional Therapist. I now use my nutrition knowledge to further support my clients.
In 2023, I began working with Nooro as their Exercise Specialist, helping improve the quality of life for people with pain and mobility issues. I am passionate about increasing their confidence to exercise and run weekly stretch and exercise classes for Nooro members.
My journey began long before my professional career. Growing up in Brisbane, Australia, I watched my grandmother struggle with heart problems, edema, and a gradual loss of mobility. This ignited my passion for helping others, leading me to pursue a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Queensland. Alongside my nursing studies, I also completed a part-time business degree and a degree in natural medicine, all while working part-time jobs.
I live in Surrey, UK, with my husband and two children. Currently, I am training for a walking marathon in September to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and for the London Marathon in April 2025 to raise funds for Heart UK.
It took me over 10 years of working with the toughest cases to make these new discoveries. I want to share them with you.
While I’m able to serve a few hundred patients a year at my clinic, I know my reach is limited. In fact, I currently have a long waiting list for those who wish to see me in Surrey.
While I love seeing patients, I knew I could also help more people by providing small, easy steps that anyone could take to improve their health at home. You don’t have to wait even one week to take advantage of these simple discoveries that have been life-changing for many others.
With that said, welcome! I’m honored to have you here, and it is my pleasure to help guide you toward a healthier, fitter, and happier future.
